Jenna Martinez
I am a certified life coach owner of Wise Mosaic Coaching, LLC. I am also a licensed master social worker (you can find my therapeutic services separately and exclusively at Droste Mental Health Services). I hold my (L)MSW from the Columbia School of Social Work and my bachelors from Hunter College, where I majored in psychology and minored in religion.
Having worked across diverse industries including entertainment, advertising technology and venture capital, I’ve experienced and observed human behavior, success, failure, ambition and resilience within different professional settings, making my style of coaching empirically grounded in real-world experience. When I finally gave my passion for mental health and wellness the attention it deserved, my career truly transformed. Today, I derive great fulfillment working with people one-on-one to create meaningful change in their lives.
My work extends beyond coaching… I’ve served as a crisis counselor for a national suicide hotline, mentored teens through The Lower Eastside Girls Club, and interned at Droste Mental Health Services, where I continue to work as a therapist on staff. Most recently I’ve become a member of FAON (Family Advocacy Outreach Network) a division of NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) the nation's largest child protection organization that works to deter and combat child sexual exploitation.
People can make incredible progress when they lock in on the right mental health and wellness modality for them. The most powerful personal strides I have made have been a direct result of a positive collaboration with either a therapist, a life coach, a professor or a mentor. It is my privilege and joy to hold space for my clients in the way others have done for me.
“Everything can be taken but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
— Viktor Frankl
