Style

My style as a coach is largely informed by my needs when I was a client. In different therapeutic spaces I found myself craving a more interactive, coached, action-oriented experience. So as a coach, this is how I engage. As a client, I needed direct feedback and active dialogue — so as a coach, that is what I provide. I was the client who would request homework — so as your coach we’ll collaborate on what you will work on between sessions. My goal is to create a space for you to actively work on integrating your new behaviors, while defining your personal best practices and protocols.

My approach is trauma-informed (which just means I’m interested in HOW our behaviors and actions are engaged in the day we are in, and that I work with an understanding of the reach and effects of traumatic experiences). Ultimately, what changes behavior is new and different choices and actions. And these are what we will strategize around together.
